Multiple Flash - Techniques page

In order to achieve Multiple flash;
  • In the studio, set up a light that can be controlled by a hand held controller. If you are using a black background, make sure it is covered so it isn't lit when the flash goes off.
  • Set your camera to the shutter speed 'B' standing for bulb which allows you to control the shutter speed by the length of time you hold the shoot button down.
  • before shooting, turn on a modelling light and focus the camera into the subject.
  • turn the modelling light off
  • hold the shooting button down and set the flash off 1-5 times
  • if on a white background make sure your model overlapped the previous frame otherwise it will burn out
  • do not do too many exposures, otherwise it will burn out.
